New Burial Site Discovered A burial ground with 13 tombs has been uncovered in Umm wl-Ga'ab which is about 400km from Cairo. The site which is thought to be that of senior royal workers or workers of the cemetery is dated at about 5000 years old.
Whilst digging they also found remnants of an old Egyptian game known as "Senet" which is similar to chess. The team from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities reported that this is only the second time this game has been found the first being in the tomb of King Tutankhamen.
