Lunar Eclipse In February Egypt witnessed a total lunar eclipse which lasted for around 50 minutes. This is the first lunar eclipse of 2008 and the next which is a partial eclipse is expected around August 16th. The next full lunar eclipse may not happen till late 2010.
A lunar eclipse happens when the Earth lines up directly between the sun and the moon, casting a shadow over the moon's surface. The moon turns a bright coppery red/orange colour as the refracted light is deflected towards it by the atmosphere.
Why Egypt From March budget airline Easyjet are to launch flights from Gatwick to Hurghada. The flights are expected to run from 30th March to 30th September and hopefully this will spread to other Easyjet UK airports.
This is great news for anyone thinking of purchasing a property in Hurghada. It is reported that property close to airports that offer less expensive flights see an increase in property values by up to 39%. This is on top of the projected capital growth predicted for Hurghada.
