Visiting Egypt If you are considering visiting Egypt from the UK you will need to acquire a visa and a passport valid for at least six months beyond your trip.
You can obtain a visa through any Egyptian embassy or buy a visa stamp when you arrive at the airport as long as you are visiting as a tourist. You will be issued with a 30 day visa as a tourist but this can be extended.
